KCM Rehabilitation Center Services

Kyampisi Childcare Ministries (KCM) currently operates a Rehab Center on rented premises, providing 24-hour care and rehabilitation services to 91 children. In 2022, over 220 children went through KCM's program, which focuses on mental health, psychosocial support, and physiotherapy rehabilitation for survivors of child sacrifice and trafficking. Certified by the Ugandan Government, KCM offers crucial care for children aged zero to 18 years.

KCM is now planning to build a new facility on recently acquired land, which will allow them to double their capacity to serve 200 children. This new center will not only provide essential rehabilitation services but also extend support to the surrounding local community. The expansion is a response to the increasing need for specialized care in Kyampisi, east of Kampala, where the organization was founded in 2009. KCM's mission began in response to the community's challenges, including poverty, lack of education and healthcare, and the horrific practice of child sacrifice driven by witchcraft. The new facility will ensure that more children receive the comprehensive care they need, including orthopedic treatment, nutrition, counseling, and mental health support, filling the gap left by under-resourced government clinics.
