Lusaka Girls Shelter

Safe housing for vulnerable women and young girls at risk of trafficking and exploitation is a critical need in the region. This project aims to establish a shelter that offers secure accommodation, essential resources, and a supportive environment to help these individuals begin their journey toward recovery and self-sufficiency.

By addressing the shortage of safe spaces, this shelter will serve as a refuge where residents can rebuild their lives and develop the skills needed for confident reintegration into their communities.

Funding Goal: $40,000 The funding will cover:

  • Construction Costs: Building a safe, secure shelter designed to house multiple residents comfortably.

  • Essential Furnishings and Supplies: Equipping the shelter with beds, kitchen appliances, and basic living necessities.

  • Operational Support: Funding essential staff and resources to maintain daily operations, ensuring a sustainable and nurturing environment for all residents.
